| They aren't as popular as they once were, too. Back in the day, Command & Conquer, although briefly, could at least compete with other RTS games like Starcraft. You can't say that now. |

| I always thought that the trailers and cinematics for all Command & Conquer games were pretty impressive, especially the way they mix gameplay with live action characters. |

| So now that I have discovered that a Red Alert 3 actually came out last year, has anyone played it? I have been a fan of the RA series since the very first one about ten or so years ago now. If you played it, is it any good? Would you recommend it? |

| I know this thread is fairly old, but I would recommend Starcraft 2 to anyone. It is around $60 but the game is really long and the online multiplayer will keep you busy for a while. It's definitely worth the price, and they are working on two more expansions. (zero and protoss based) |

| Most old games don't support their online anymore. If its through the Westwood connection then it won't work. If it is through Gamespy or whatever the hell it has then it is glitchy to shiza. I wish the Westwood connection would still work, but fail. Yeah, I thought they discontinued online play - ... |

| I think it's cool that they are making a 4th but it isn't with the original studio, Bungie. I think it is a lame move by Microsoft, and if the game ends up being bad, then they are going to piss off a lot of people. |
